Supporting a better deal
The Co-operative has been supporting Fairtrade since the inception of the Fairtrade mark back in 1994.
|
What is Fairtrade?
Fairtrade is an independent consumer label that ensures that disadvantaged producers in developing countries get a better deal for their crop.
The money they receive can be used to improve living conditions or for community projects, such as providing clean drinking water.

What can you do?
All our stores stock a core range of key Fairtrade products such as coffee, tea, sugar, chocolate and bananas but look out in-store for other Fairtrade items including Valentine’s Day roses, Easter bunnies/eggs and Christmas puddings
So next time you’re shopping at a Co-operative food store, make it Fairtrade .
